6 Ways to Have a Healthy 2025

New Year 2025 1

If you’re one of the millions of people throughout the country who makes a New Year’s resolution related to health, then keep reading, as we have some great tips to keep you from neglecting your resolution or throwing it out a few weeks into the New Year.

It’s pretty typical that people start with lofty health goals at the beginning of the year and then find that life gets in the way. Exercise begins to dwindle, healthy food habits go back to what they were previously, and you’re back to spending hours on the couch scrolling through your phone or binge watching your favorite show.

While some downtime is crucial for mental and physical health, exercise and healthy foods are crucial as well. So if you’re hoping to make 2025 a year of improvement, now is the time to set that goal. To help you, we have six awesome ways to help you stay healthy this coming year. Plus, we have paired these suggestions with PI products so that you can get the most out of them as you work to attain your goals.

  1. Set a realistic goal.

If you don’t know what you want to accomplish in 2025, you won’t be able to accomplish it. Take a bit of time for contemplation and determine what you want. Do you want to eliminate snacks, stop eating fast food, exercise more, lose weight, or improve your overall health? Figure out which you want and then find a way to accomplish this. For instance, if you want to begin exercising, a realistic goal would be to join a gym and start going three to four times a week for 30 minutes each time. It would not be realistic to commit to going for two hours seven days a week. So take a look at your work and family life and determine what is realistic for you. 1. Reduce unhealthy snacks.

Regardless of your goals, unhealthy snacks like candy bars, pastries, or crackers or breads made with white flour will not do your body any good. Make a promise to stay away from these kinds of foods most of the time (some indulging on special occasions is fine!). Replace those snacks with our Inspired Bars 2.0 protein bars or our Protein Cookies. They are packed with healthy ingredients and protein and fit easily into your gym bag or purse.

  1. Try a greens powder.

You have probably seen ads for various greens powders. They are a popular replacement for those who don’t get their vitamins and nutrients through nutritional foods (and most people do not!). Greens powders can be easily added to a glass of water and have many benefits. For instance, they can help reduce bodily inflammation, improve digestion and immunity, increase energy, improve cognitive functioning, promote weight loss, promote heart health, and more. Add PI’s great-tasting Greens for Life to your daily routine and let us know how you feel!

  1. Exercise!

Get out there and get your body moving. How much should we exercise each week? The Mayo Clinic explains: “Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity a week. Or get at least 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week. You also can get an equal combination of moderate and vigorous activity.” 150 minutes a week is easy! That’s just over 21 minutes each day. And it doesn’t have to be all at once. So if you have 10 minutes during your lunch break, go on a brisk walk. After dinner, lift some weights and walk around the block. Take along one of our water bottles or shakers for hydration or a boost of protein!

  1. Sleep!

Sleep is crucial to our mental and physical health. Adults need between seven and nine hours each night. In fact, getting less than seven hours per night on a regular basis has been linked to poor overall health, “including weight gain, having a body mass index of 30 or higher, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and depression.” If you’re like me and have trouble sleeping—and staying asleep—you may need help. Try our Sleep & Beauty Formula. These delicious chews contain both melatonin and biotin to help improve the quality of your sleep.

  1. Eat enough protein

WebMD explains that protein deficiency can lead to cognitive problems, edema (swelling), mood problems, weakness, fatigue, an increased chance of getting sick, and more. Since it’s not always easy to get quality protein on the go, try some of PI’s protein powders. You can choose from Performance Whey, our Diet & Energy Ripped Whey Protein, and even our Isolate Whey. All come in tasty flavors that can be easily added to your favorite drink. If you want to or must eliminate dairy, try our Plant-Based Protein Powder. It’s a delicious alternative!

Our health is one of the most important things we have, and many aspects of our physical well-being are under our control. Make 2025 the year you take control of your health and take the steps you need to make it a great and healthy year.
