The holiday season is here, and we know that you are excited to get in the kitchen and make some awesome Christmas cookies. But, you wonder, How do I stay healthy eating Christmas cookies? Well, don’t sweat it yet! PI is sharing with you our two favorite Christmas cookie recipes!
The Strong Gingerbread Man Cookie
Make your gingerbread man strong this Christmas with our tasty recipe.
Ingredients (makes roughly 6 gingerbread men):
¼ cup of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
2 eggs
½ TBSP of mixed spice
1 TBSP of cinnamon
½ cup of dates
½ cup of hazelnuts
Directions:
- Using a mixer, mix all ingredients together, then shape the dough into gingerbread men or cut out with a cookie cutter.
2. Place the gingerbread men on a greased pan and bake at 355 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until nicely browned.
3. Enjoy decorating! Make sure you give him a PI shirt and send us a pic!
Santa’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Even Santa takes protein! He needs to stay strong to carry all the presents for your kids.
Ingredients (makes roughly 4, depending on how big you make them):
½ cup of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
½ cup of almond milk
¼ cup of chocolate chips
2 TBSP of coconut flower
Directions:
- Mix all the above ingredients.
2. Roll into round balls and place on tray.
3. Bake at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
4. Put on a plate and serve to Santa.
