While this message comes to you with a heavy heart, it also brings with it a sense of hope and a determination to move forward and help others. During these turbulent times ALL of us struggle to stay optimistic and maintain not only our faith in in humanity, but our mental and physical health as well.
One of the driving forces behind the formation of PI was to be inspiring tomorrow today by inspiring ALL people to improve their lives by leading a more active and healthy lifestyle as well as provide them a vehicle to give back through charity and in turn, improve the lives of others. The kindness and compassion shown through giving back is needed now, more than ever. In the spirit of community and unity we are increasing the charitable contributions from our net profits TENFOLD for the week of (June 15-21) on PINutrition.com to benefit Teaching Tolerance (tolerance.org). This amazing organization provides free educational materials to schools and instructors of kids from kindergarten through high school. Teaching Tolerance advocates “emphasizing respect, acceptance, and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world’s cultures…and tackles such topics as: Race and ethnicity, religion, ability, class, immigration, gender identity, bullying and bias and rights and activism.” We at PI believe that by stepping in and giving our youth the tools they need to build a better life today, can only help ensure a better world for ALL of us tomorrow. Doing our best for ALL of humanity is important to us at PI. You have our commitment that we will continue to take inspiration from the needs of those around us and will strive to find ways to contribute positively during both good times and bad while on our inspired to be better journey…Any positive action can make a difference- it’s up to us ALL to work together and make the world a better place, and we can do it as long as we don’t stop trying. Stay well and stay inspired, Tom Dowd and the PI Team “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” |
