There are few things I love more than my morning cup of coffee. I’m not a coffee aficionado by any measure, and I don’t really get into the unique blends and the fancy stuff, but I do enjoy a basic cup of coffee when I first wake up.

Here is my go-to PI Whey Protein coffee recipe. I love to use this when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to cook a full breakfast:
1 cup of your favorite coffee
A bit of heavy whipping cream
1 Tbsp of butter
1 Tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 scoop of PI Whey Protein (Chocolate or Vanilla)
Blend it and enjoy!
I recommend that, before your coffee, you down the biggest glass of water you can find. Remember, hydration is your first priority in nutrition and supplementation, and if not properly hydrated, your body won’t be able to properly use the supplements you take.
This frothy combo might seem a bit weird and foreign to some, but the healthy fats in the butter, cream, and coconut oil will give you a steady stream of energy that lasts until lunchtime. Whey protein will keep you feeling full and will get quality proteins and BCAAs into your system to help with recovery and maintaining healthy muscles.
