You want to be healthy so you can be around for your children and, believe us, we get it! Follow the tips and tricks below and, before you know it, you’ll be living a happier,  healthier lifestyle.

Tip 1 – Work out with your kiddos

Tip 2 – Walk at practice

If your kids are in sports, there is an easy way for you to work out. Instead of dropping your child off at practice and chatting with the other parents in the bleachers, walk!  Walking while your child is at practice is a great way to drop a few pounds. Have the other parents join you in walking, so you can chat AND stay fit. Yyour weight and how fast you walk determines how many calories you will burn walking. For example, if you walk at  2.5 speed and you are 180 pounds, you will burn roughly 96 calories.

Tip 3 – Work out at work

Working out at work is a great way to stay fit. During lunch, instead of eating, go for a walk. There are also other ways you can work out at your office. Please visit our 4 ways to stay fit at the office blog for those tips.

Of course, it’s terrific if you can wrangle alone time to go to the gym. However, if that’s not possible, you can still work on your personal fitness by following these three tips.
