Performance Inspired Nutrition (PI) is an active lifestyle nutrition company co-founded by actor and businessman Mark Wahlberg and executive Tom Dowd. As a collaborative team player and a valued member of the Corporate Team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for Performance Inspired’s paid and organic social media. As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will research, conceptualize, write, proofread, and edit original content for various channels. You will be accountable for website management, email marketing, social media management, and creating digital media content. This key position will be responsible for helping to establish the visual direction of the company by providing compelling and impactful concepts, layouts, and designs across a variety of mediums. This on-site position will also serve to create solid and effective multi-channel marketing and communication efforts across all digital and non-digital channels to help build the brand and facilitate the company’s growth. We expect you to bring new ideas to help grow the business.
Produce digital design materials to engage customers and support Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care teams.
Conceptualize, layout, design, and execute creative projects including collateral, print advertisements, digital ads, emails, social media, trade show booth graphics, sales presentations, etc.
Maintain current websites, enhancements, plug-ins, site re-design, and landing pages.
Oversee and support eCommerce partners such as Amazon, Walmart.com & Costco.com.
Continually optimize PI’s website performance and assist in planning website strategy.
Utilize analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; recommend modifications or new strategies based on the data and analytics.
Apply inbound marketing strategies for website development to generate quality sales leads.
Investigate new digital marketing opportunities and establish recommended strategies by analyzing market data customer feedback and evaluating existing business strengths and weaknesses.
Design other marketing/digital marketing and advertising materials, including product photos, videos, and other content as needed.
Create and maintain coupon, ad, and sales promotion calendar for PI website.
Build our email databases, develop email editorial calendars, newsletters, and drip campaigns, curate, and create content; manage and report on email campaigns.
Develop Company’s presence on selected social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok.
Monitor and maintain all social media platforms. Schedule and post content; reply to consumer inquiries.
Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies.
Engage on all aspects of marketing as needed, including strategy, customer experience efforts, budget management, and analysis to ensure cohesive, cross-channel marketing efforts that drive results.
Work with our partners and clients to execute and report on paid media campaigns, including PPC, social media ads, pre-roll, video advertising, sponsored and native ad opportunities, etc.
Maintain corporate branding across all platforms.
Remain abreast of industry social media trends and competitor positioning to ensure PI is well-positioned.
Perform other graphics-related projects as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Technology, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Web Development, Digital Marketing are preferred, but all qualifications will be reviewed
4 years experience in social media marketing
4+ years experience with Web Analytics software and tag management; Google certification, a plus
4+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing technology platforms. Experience with marketing automation, salesforce automation, ad targeting, predictive marketing engines, social media platforms, and other technologies in the digital marketing ecosystem
Experience planning and running email, SEO/SEM, display advertising, retargeting, and social media campaigns
Proficiency with WordPress, Woo Commerce, HTML, MailChimp and TaxJar
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Impeccable written and oral communications, presentation, and influencing skills
Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
Ability to set priorities, plan and organize tasks
